GC

The GC instrument is used for the separation and analysis of organic substances capable of converting into a gaseous state.

Three types of gas chromatography are used: GC, GC-MS, GC-MS/MS.

Substance groups determined via GC

The following substance groups are analyzed with high precision using the GC instrument:

  • Organic compounds (volatile and semi-volatile)
  • Alcohol (methanol, ethanol, propanol, etc.)
  • Hydrocarbons (gases and fuels)
